  The mutual insurance industry is undeniably a heavily regulated and legislated industry. In this environment, insurance employers and employees alike recognize that decisions made by these officials can impact their success for many years.  This adds an element of responsibility for those in the industry to  be engaged in the political process.  There is no better way to learn about the industry's regulatory climate and to have your voice heard than collectively at PAMIC's Mutual Insurance Day. 

  Take advantage of this event to update seasoned employees or educate new employees of the ever-changing regulatory environment and how it affects operations.

  NAMIC’s Congressional Contact Program (CCP) is a world-class advocacy operation that is widely known within the insurance world as the industry’s premier grassroots program. CCP is designed to provide attendees with the opportunity to personally visit with their congressional representatives and staff to voice their concerns over national legislation and issues that affect the property/casualty insurance industry. NAMIC will provide an hour+ educational session on the first day so you will be well prepared to speak to legislators. This event makes a huge impact on our industry.

  Noon:  Federal Affairs Briefing at NAMIC Office with Senate meetings following.

  Dinner hosted by PAMIC at a local restaurant. 

  Wednesday, June 10th
  House delegation meetings beginning in the morning and ending early afternoon.

  Join us for a relaxing day on the links at the Omni Bedford Springs Old Course. The proceeds from this golf outing go to the PAMIC PAC and help to support advocacy efforts as our organization pushes for legislation and regulations that stimulate business. 

  Golfers can expect fun competitions and contests with prizes being awarded following the round. Registration includes a boxed lunch and welcome reception with adult beverages.
